Read each for its purpose
Ask which product and samples a test report represents and have the specifier review its relevance. Separately, obtain the actual warranty document for the supplied material or system. A marketing summary is not the same as either complete document. Installation workmanship may also have its own agreement, distinct from the stone manufacturer's information.

Keep the roof-specific record
Connect the accepted documents to the actual order, installer, and completed assembly. Ask the provider to clarify practical service contacts and any documentation the owner must retain. Avoid assuming that a material classification guarantees a particular outcome for every roof. Good records help future questions be directed to the appropriate party with the correct product and installation information.
