Compare the relevant factors
Ask the inspector to describe each roof area's material, orientation, shading, junctions, and known repairs. Note whether water from other surfaces reaches it or whether trades regularly access nearby equipment. These observations provide context for differences in condition, but they should not be used to predict performance without inspecting the actual roof.

Request area-specific recommendations
A report should explain whether the same intervention is warranted everywhere or whether targeted repairs and further assessment are more appropriate in particular zones. Ask how work on one area connects to retained roofing. Keep photographs and decisions organized by slope. This avoids turning the worst visible location into an unsupported judgment about every part of the building.
