Confirm the roofing selection
Have the installer identify the product, dimensions, thickness selection, intended layout, and required accessories. Clarify whether the quantities include starters, cut pieces, special details, and retained spare stock. The supplier should understand which decisions are final and which remain provisional. Do not let a shorthand color description replace the approved sample and product identification.

Confirm delivery requirements
Provide site access information, the unloading plan, and the requested delivery sequence. Ask how material will be packaged and identified and how availability will be confirmed. Keep the final order aligned with the installer’s takeoff, using clear units for pieces, area, or other quoted quantities. Resolve discrepancies before dispatch so the arrival of heavy material does not become the first opportunity to discover a misunderstanding.
