Identify affected activities
Tell the contractor about planned outages and ask which equipment, access systems, communications, or interior operations may be affected. Let the responsible trades determine the actual implications. Do not assume that roof work can proceed unchanged simply because it takes place outside.

Align the sequence
Confirm what work can occur before, during, and after the outage and how temporary protection will be maintained. Keep an agreed contact method if ordinary building communications will be unavailable. Record any scheduling changes that affect other trades. The value of this discussion is practical coordination: the contractor can plan the day's work around known building conditions instead of discovering them after the roof is opened.
