Attach to structure with slate-specific flashings
Mounts should connect to adequate framing using designed, water-shedding details. Do not rely on surface sealant or casual face drilling through unsupported slate.

Plan equipment spacing, wiring, snow movement and safe routes for maintenance. Keep matching slate and attachment documentation with the building records.
