Read who provides the warranty, which product or work it covers, and what remedy is offered. Check the relevant conditions, exclusions, reporting procedure, and transfer provisions. Material coverage and installation coverage may come from different parties and should be recorded separately.

Ask about your scenario
For example, ask how a claim would be handled if a material concern required access and removal work. Request written clarification of any unclear provision rather than assuming that the headline includes every associated expense. Keep the issued warranty and purchase records with the roof file.
