Confirm the dimensions
Ask the supplier how the product dimensions are stated and what variation is expected. Measure representative pieces before finalizing a repair match or course layout. Keep metric and inch dimensions clearly labeled; a rounded conversion can conceal a difference that matters when fitting existing work. Hole positions should also be checked when they affect the specified system.

Connect the order to the roof
Send the installer both the product description and the measured sample information. If substituting a nearby size, ask how the change affects the planned courses and quantity before approving it. Do not assume pieces with similar labels are interchangeable. Document the accepted dimensions on the order so delivery inspection uses the same criteria as the original selection.
